About Endeavor Insight

Endeavor Insight is the research division of Endeavor, a non-profit organization that supports high impact entrepreneurs across the world. Its work seeks to answer three questions:

  1. How do entrepreneurs reach scale at their companies?
  2. How do entrepreneurs reach scale in local networks or ecosystems?
  3. What can policymakers, philanthropic leaders, investors, support organizations, and other stakeholders do to empower more entrepreneurs to reach scale in their communities?
The methodology utilized in this study builds on previous Endeavor Insight research supported by the Omidyar Network, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Heron Foundation, and the Ralph Wilson Foundation, as well as partners in the Global Entrepreneurship Research Network.

About Endeavor Turkey

Endeavor Turkey was established in 2007 in Istanbul. So far Endeavor Turkey has selected a total of 64 Companies and 100 Endeavor Entrepreneurs. So far in 2020, Endeavor has selected Marti, Tarfin and Volt Lines among the Endeavor Turkey candidates. The valuation of Endeavor Entrepreneur companies in Turkey have reached a value close to $3 Billion so far.

In addition to the Entrepreneur selection and support process, Endeavor Turkey works to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem with acceleration programs and activities. Endeavor focuses directly on the development of entrepreneurs and their companies with its support programs such as the “CaseCampus” Program for students, the “StartUpCampus” Program for early-stage companies, and the “ScaleUp” Program, specially designed for companies which are in Endeavor Turkey’s selection process and have high growth potential. Endeavor also aims to contribute to the development of city ecosystems by running a special entrepreneurial support process in Ankara and Izmir. The ScaleUp Summits held, with the goal of spreading entrepreneurship awareness, every year in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, Endeavor brings together successful entrepreneurs and leaders of the entrepreneurship community with entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey.
